Special Education – Assessing and Facilitating Literacy Skills in Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities is designed as an intensive inservice professional development effort. Approximately 100 teachers and therapists working with students with significant cognitive disabilities across the state of North Carolina gather in Greensboro, NC for a week of intensive professional development. These participants continue to be supported throughout the year via resources and online supports.
