Description

1. preparation of silica-based stationary phase support particles in the sub-2 micron diameter size range, in non-porous, superficially porous and totally porous particle morphologies.
2. preparation of chemically bonded stationary phases for both reversed phase and hydrophilic interaction chromatography on silica-based support materials.
3. develop methods for packing sub-2 micron packing materials of all types and stationary phases into capillary columns of optimal performance
4. increase the pressure capability and refine instrumentation for ultra high pressure gradient elution liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry
5. assist in the set-up of instrumentation for UHPLC-MS in the Kennedy research group at The University of Michigan
6. transfer the methods for particle preparation and column packing to the Kennedy research group at The University of Michigan
