GENE POLYMORPHISMS IN RELATION TO CANCER IN BLACK WOMEN

Research project

Description

Dr. Troester will perform gene expression analyses on FFPE breast cancer blocks from epidemiologic studies. The goals of this work are to determine if gene expression distinguishes breast cancers with different exposure histories and to identify potential targets for intervention. Dr. Troester will also collaborate on integrating these expression data with other data types from the Black Women's Health Study and will coauthor manuscripts.
